E-prescribing routes through Surescripts to the patient's pharmacy of choice. Controlled substances require an extra two-factor step (EPCS).
Prescribe a non-controlled medication
Open the chart → Medications → Prescribe. Search for the drug; pick strength, dosage form, and sig. Choose the pharmacy on file. Sign and send.
Controlled substances (EPCS)
Same flow, but EnWella prompts for your second factor (hardware token or authenticator app). The signature is logged with timestamp and IP per DEA rules.
